| Position Summary: |
To build and mentor an
effective Americas sales team that delivers 25% growth per year by
expanding markets, channels, and customer reach in Canada, US, and
Latin America. |
| Responsibilities: |
- Develop an overall sales strategy
for the region that addresses markets, geography, and channel
- Target new markets for development
- Deliver quarterly training for
sales teams
- Preparation of consolidated
monthly sales and pipeline forecast and report
- Participate in the sales
leadership team to review and guide the overall marketing and
product roadmaps for the company
- Participate and help plan at least
one global sales meeting
Conduct bi-weekly sales revenue update calls

| Knowledge and
Experience: |
- BS in optics, physics, chemistry
or engineering required, higher-level technical degree is preferred
- 5-10 years executive sales
experience with demonstrated experience in revenue growth with at
least $25M in revenue responsibility
- Demonstrated experience in
managing and motivating sales teams
- Photonics or industrial/medical
analyzer/analysis experience. Spectroscopy a plus
- Extensive experience with
technology-driven firms, new product introductions and
multiple-channel distribution.
- Experience in setting up domestic
distribution is critical.
