Optical Fiber Kits, Ocean Optics offers a variety of fiber kits that
provide you with the tools you need to build, test, terminate, jacket,
repair and polish optical fibers. Our kits are great for educators,
professionals and do-it-yourselfers! Each kit is an off-the-shelf item and
is ready for delivery.

Fiber
Tinkerer Kit
The
Fiber Tinkerer Kit includes an assortment of randomly selected UV-VIS and
VIS-NIR optical fibers. Each Fiber Tinkerer Kit has at least 1 meter of
consecutive length of each fiber type.

Bare
Fiber Adapter Kit
Our Bare Fiber Adapter Kit includes six
SMA 905 Connectors (1 each 100 µm, 200 µm, 300 µm, 400 µm 600
µm and 1000 µm), and a connect-and-release
adapter to fasten the SMAs onto bare optical fiber.

Termination
Kit
The Termination Kit provides
you with all the tools you need to properly terminate an optical
fiber with an SMA 905 Connector. It's a great way to repair,
polish and inspect assemblies without removing them from your
system. The Termination Kit contains:
SMA 905 Connectors (4 each of
50/100 µm, 200 µm, 400 µm, 600
µm and 1000 µm)

Terminators
Our
SMA 905 Connector Kits (see table below are an excellent complement to the standard
Termination Kit (above). We offer six different sizes, each with
10 SMA 905 Connectors of the same size, drilled for precise
alignment with our optical fiber. The difference between each kit
is the diameter size of the SMA 905 Connector and whether you
prefer standard SMA 905 Connectors or Premium SMA 905 Connectors.
