Hypo Tube Oxygen Probe

Our new Hypo Tube Oxygen Probes are rugged probes designed to penetrate septa in packaging, vials and other vessels. These probes are ideal for applications in life sciences, biomedical diagnostics, drug discovery and more.

The Hypo Tube Probes have 1 mm or 0.5 mm OD stainless steel ferrules and are available in a randomized fiber optic bundle for better efficiency than single core fibers.

These unique probes are angled and can be coated with all of our three of our formulations -- FOXY, HIOXY and FOSPOR – for a full range of sample environments.

The Hypo Tube Probe design is equally effective in measuring oxygen in both air and solutions. Hypo Tube Probes eliminate issues associated with sample media clogging the eye of needle probes, which can result in false oxygen readings. What’s more, the probe assembly has a streamlined fiber coupling arrangement that helps to improve signal to noise performance.

Hypo Tubes evolved from the need for a reliable probe with an angled tip that is useable in both air and solutions, in a design that’s simple to use with our sensor electronics and software. We offer a full range of oxygen probe options – from slender fibers for fine spatial resolution needs to large, more rugged probes for process applications.
